Bentley is bad news on “The Bachelorette” 2011, but he sure captured Emily Maynard’s attention when she first learned about him on his ABC bio. In a video blog Emily taped for BachelorTV, she mentioned Bentley being her “first favorite” of the cast. What were the odds of that?
“God knows I love a man in a plaid shirt,” she gushed.
Has Brad Womack been wearing any plaid shirts lately? If he’s spotted wearing anything like that, we know where the idea came from!
Emily went on to say:
“But, yeah….ewww. I think we’ve all had that guy that has lied to us and told us everything we want to hear and go and broken our hearts. And I really hope he doesn’t do that to her this season, and I hope she figures it out pretty quickly.”
At least Emily recognizes the fact Bentley is not a good guy! I was surprised to hear her even admit she liked Bentley at all, to be honest about it. I mean, of all the charming men on “The Bachelorette” in 2011, she says BENTLEY is the man she was first impressed by? Surely she knew that was going to draw in more drama over Bentley being on “The Bacheloette.” It’s pretty coincidental if you ask me, given the fact Bentley wanted Emily to be the next “Bachelorette” and isn’t into Ashley Hebert. Did anyone know that Emily has a thing for men in plaid shirts? That was another twist.

personally, I don’t think Emily is that smart. I’m not surprised she liked Bentley to begin with. Might be a good match.
For some reason I find Emily to be fake and I kept yelling at the TV for Brad not to choose her. Her sweetness is put on and I was able to see through her from the beginning. She had no intention ever being with Brad and she took away something special another contestant could have had. Brad is a very nice guy and deserves better.
I was yelling at the TV as well! Emily was so fake and boooring! Chantel was my fave because she was fun and full of life. Oh and booooo Bentley, what a douche.
Brad is way too old for Emily. The relationships where the man is much older generally don’t last when the woman gets to her 30s, and the guy starts to really show his age, not just in the appearance, but also the mentality, the energy, and, well, between the sheets. Notice whenever you see a relationship with a guy who is 10+ years older than the woman, it is never an outgoing, strong, gorgeous woman like Emily, it is normally either an insecure, weak or lazy woman, or overweight or not very good looking, so she doesn’t have all the suitors that Emily has. I agree that Emily is not nearly as smart as Ashley (I don’t think she complete dental school anyway), but she does have a strong personality, she is outgoing, and tons of men find her gorgeous.

I wanted Emily to be the one, right from the start, then as I continued to watch it, my significant other told me that she was as phony as a $3 bill. Apparently he was right. I do not want to see
Ashley get her heart broke over some dead beat guy, who thinks he is God’s gift to women. Actually, he would be my last choice.
Emily is a bore. PERIOD
I love BENTLEY! He is so hot and Ashley deserves that, what made me mad was the fact that she put herself in a ROAST, which is to be made fun of, and then cries at the end and gets mad, when she is the one who put the guys in that position! Its dumb that she fell for bentley so quickly, thats her fault, the whole time he didn’t even act like he was into her.
Bentley is a douche bag.
Bently is a narcissist – someone who treats people like objects. I would not be surprised if that is what drove his wife away. On another note, Bently said Ashley was not his “type”. Well, if she dyed her hair blond, put in green contact lens and had plastic surgery (nose and boobs) then she would look just like Bently’s ex-wife. She’s cute but definately cosmetically enhanced.
I honestly hate Bentley with a passion. He’s too egotistical and thinks that he’s amazing when he isn’t. What upsets me even more is that Ashley claims to be head over heels for him in 3 weeks! She’s wasting her time by thinking about Bentley when there are better guys on the show for her.
Anyone that falls in love so quickly to want to get married must be nuts. Really??? Bentley was probably the most honest one out of all of them, but I wonder what he would do if a man treated his daighter that way?
