Everyone is dying to know who will be “The Bachelor” 2012 — and according to a new poll taken by Us Weekly magazine, the title may go to Ben Flajnik, although an official announcement for season 16 won’t be made by ABC until the end of “Dancing with the Stars” season 13 this fall. Two other men are up for being “The Bachelor” 2012 besides Flajnik, including Ames Brown and Ryan Park, who were on Ashley’s season of “The Bachelorette.”
In the poll released by Us Weekly, Ben Flajnik got 53 percent of the votes for being the next Bachelor with Ames Brown receiving just 27 percent and Ryan Park getting a pathetic 20 percent. Ames Brown is reportedly getting close to Jackie Gordon who is competing with him on “Bachelor Pad” 2. It’s unlikely viewers will see him be the next “Bachelor” for 2012.
An inside source reveals to the mag that Ashley Hebert was the first woman Ben Flajnik grew close to since the death of his father in 2006. Chris Harrison added recently that Ben saw Ashley as a stepping stone to moving on from the loss of his father and now he’s ready to find love.
Reports surfaced earlier this week that Ben was seeing Jennifer Love Hewitt when they were out on a date August 6 in San Francisco. Eyewitnesses told Us Weekly that he didn’t seem overly affectionate and nothing seemed to be “there” for them.
Who would you like to see as “The Bachelor” 2012? If Ben Flajnik doesn’t find love before producers decide who should have the title for season 16, will they have Ben be the one finding love among 25 women next year? One thing is absolutely for certain, a familiar face will be “The Bachelor” because the recycling of old contestants has been working well for the show. Viewers have learned more about the contestants as the process of finding love plays out on television screens. It’s a great “screening” process for fans and the producers.
